A Bucks County township is getting ready to help those in need this holiday season with a big toy drive being held this weekend.

The Bensalem Township Police Department will be hosting a toy drive luncheon at the Texas Roadhouse, located on 1545 Street Road. The event will be held from 11 AM – 1:30 PM.

The luncheon will serve as an opportunity for residents to donate toys and gift cards to children who are in need during the holiday season.

Adults who come with a new, unwrapped toy or gift card will be able to enjoy a meal for $10. Children under the age of 6 who bring the same will eat free. Organizers are asking for gift cards for those that cannot bring a physical gift, as they make great Christmas gifts for older children.
