The new wellness eatery will offer Bucks County residents an array of healthy eats.

A health food chain, with their latest location in Bucks County, will be expanding their operations in Philadelphia with a former big-time athlete. Emma Dooling wrote about the expansion in the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Pure Green, a juice and smoothie shop that just opened a location in Newtown, has announced the tit will be expanding into the nearby city with the help of a former player for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Unfortunately, owner Ross Franklin has not announced which player it is yet.

Pure Green brings healthy superfoods into communities, making them more accessible by introducing nutrition as nature intended. All items are formulated using the highest-quality ingredients and superfoods designed for optimal performance such as spirulina, a blue-green algae that is rich in chlorophyll containing anti-inflammatory properties.

The expansion into Philadelphia will give the Florida-based company a chance to offer their healthy goods to a Pennsylvanian audience.

“That’s one of the things we’re really careful about, really making sure that there’s no overlap,” Franklin said. “Every city is evaluated separately.”
