A Bucks County school district has been collecting and organizing food donations for those in need this holiday season.

Students and staff from Neshaminy School District recently worked together to organize food donations at Maple Point Middle School in Langhorne. As part of their Thanksgiving Food Drive, students helped to make boxes of non-perishable food items that will go to those facing food insecurity this year.

“It’s sorting day for the Thanksgiving Food Drive at Maple Point MS,” the school district said online.

Food staples, snacks, drinks, and a plethora of canned goods made their way through a line of helpers who worked to ensure that all those benefitting from the event will have enough for a good Thanksgiving this year.

“Not only are they supplying meals for MPMS families, but they also have enough to help out a couple of elementary schools with their donation needs as well.”
