A Bucks County museum offers visitors the chance to learn about the area’s history through antique and rare items on display.

The Perkasie Historical Society, located at 513 W. Walnut Street, will be open this Sunday, as the Perkasie Fall Fest has been cancelled due to the weather.

Founded in 1954, the volunteer organization oversees the upkeep of the the South Perkasie Covered Bridge, the Perkasie Carousel, Perkasie Museum and the Stout Family Cemetery.

“Stop by to see the ‘Peek of Perkasie’ display featuring unique items from the museum collection,” the organization said online. “The museum will be open Noon to 4 PM.”
