One area in Bucks County is known for its Halloween festivities, and those will begin to take off as the holiday draws nearer. Jeff Werner wrote about the events for the Newtown Patch.

Newtown Borough’s Halloween Parade is set for Oct. 29. This fun and festive event is always a draw for the Newtown area, as the parade is a fun time for family, friends, and young children.

A free movie event will be held at Linton Memorial Park at Lincoln and Penn on Oct. 21 from 6:30 – 9 PM.

The annual “Paint the Town” event will be held in the Borough on Oct. 15.

Paint and painting supplies will be made available to all children and parents participating in the event. Those supplies can be picked up at the Newtown Bicycle Shop from 9 AM to 10 AM the date of the event. A rain date of Oct. 16 will be in place in case of a change in the weather.

“Eric Mintel Investigates” will be bringing its Paranormal Projection Room to the Newtown Theatre on Oct. 30, a perfect wrap-up to the season’s events.
