A local nonprofit recently worked with a major food market chain to supply Bucks County children with snacks and supplies for the new school year.

United Way of Bucks County, headquartered in Fairless Hills, partnered with Giant Food Stores to pack 200 backpacks for local students. The organization is known for these back-to-school events that help students as they return for their fall semesters.

“Thank you so much to our friends from @giant Food Stores!” the organization said in a social media post about the event. “Today they packed 200 backpacks filled with snacks and treats all donated by Giant for the #HELPCenterBucks and #StufftheBus!”

The partnership is bound to help students across the area as they begin a new school year.
