Looking for a fun and exciting new spot to visit? Bucks County libraries have more interesting thing to do than ever before. Michele Haddon wrote about the libraries for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Locations for the Bucks County Free Library around the area are offering fun items like disco lights, metal detectors, and other oddities that staff explain how to use. The inclusion of these items has been introduced in the last few years to breathe new live into he local library scene.

Residents with a library card can also rent party supplies from their nearest location. This makes for a great use of the libraries as a social gather place in addition to a place that people use for education.

“We’re always looking for new things to circulate,” said Ambrose. “If someone was to have a kid’s party, you’re not going to want to go out and buy a fog machine. We wanted to offer things you wouldn’t normally want to buy, but could add another element to the party.”
