The recently finished mural was a collaboration with the Ten Thousand Flowers Project.

The New Hope-Solebury School District just completed a community mural with the help of a local nonprofit affiliate. Stephanie Yoder wrote about the art project for the Bucks County Herald.

Headed by Tim Gibson of the Ten Thousand Flowers Project and funded by the New Hope-Solebury Education Fund, the mural now adorns the outside of New Hope-Solebury High School. With help from students in the school district, Gibson painted the outside of the high school with bright flowers, adding a little more color to an already beautiful school.

The school’s art teacher, Karen Rosenburg, invited Gibson and allowed the school to be a part of his nationwide art project.

“We are very appreciative of the Education Fund for enabling us to provide such an amazing artistic experience for our students,” Rosenburg said. “The mural has completely transformed the courtyard into a vibrant space that will continue to inspire our students’ creativity.”

Completed in June, the school district and community can now enjoy another piece of art that showcases the talents of Bucks County students.
