A spokesperson for Amazon confirmed that a new Amazon Fresh store will open soon in the Broomall Commons Shopping Center in Delaware County, writes Pete Bannan for the Daily Times.

Signs for the store went up Wednesday afternoon. It is located near West Chester Pike next to Planet Fitness and PetSmart.

The store will have traditional checkouts but will include its Just Walk Out advantage, which lets customers skip checkout lines.

According to the company website, the technology is able to keep track of “who took what” from the store. When a shopper removes an item, it is added to his or her virtual cart. If the shopper puts the item back, it comes out of the virtual cart.

Once they leave the store, the customer’s account receives the charge.

The Marple store is the second Amazon Fresh in Pa. The first opened in Warrington, Bucks County.

Amazon has also been working to open a store at 403 West Chester Pike in the Llanerch Shopping Center in Haverford Township. Back in February, the township zoning hearing board denied a variance request to install a 164-square-foot sign at the location.
