Mayank Amin, who owns the Skippack Pharmacy, donned his Superman costume once again to help keep the youngest yet COVID-19 vaccine recipients feel safe and relaxed, writes Erin McCarthy for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Amin has just started what he believes will be a marathon to get the region’s children vaccinated.

Among the initial walk-ins was Brennan Sibel, who came in with his father, Stephen Sibel, to get the first shot before his eleventh birthday dinner. His father was excited the vaccine was finally available for his son, who has been attending virtual school.

‘After he is fully vaccinated, he will most likely return to the classroom.

The approval for the use of the Pfizer vaccine in children ages five to 11 has come as a huge relief to many parents in the region.

Jeff and Melinda Bream were happy to bring their two children, Lily, 11, and Shawn, 10, as soon as possible. Once the kids were vaccinated, they received goodie bags from Mayank Amin and their parents snapped a picture of them with Superman, while finally feeling some relief.

”It’s one more thing we don’t have to worry about,” said Jeff.
