Doylestown Health increased its Bucks County footprint this week. The health system opened an outpatient care center in Wrightstown, reports John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal

The 2,600-square-foot specialty and ambulatory care center offers a range of services including neurology, urology, vascular surgery, and colorectal surgery.

Doylestown Health expects the outpatient center, created within an existing building at 2189 Second Street Pike, to draw patients from Wrightstown, Newtown, Southampton, Upper Makefield, Richboro, and Langhorne.

The center’s medical staff comprises:

  • Neurologist Dr. Carly Scatton
  • Urologist Dr. Heather Gottlieb
  • Vascular surgeons Dr. Paul Foley and Dr. Atul Rao
  • Colorectal specialists Dr. Robert Akbari and Dr. Christopher J. Bruce

A full-time staff of six will support these physicians.

Doylestown Health plans to increase the number of specialty services available at its new Wrightstown location in the future.

The health system also operates an ambulatory care center on its Doylestown Hospital campus, a health and wellness center in Warrington, and an urgent care center in Doylestown.

More on this health-care system expansion is at Philadelphia Business Journal.
