In honor of National Cheesesteak Day this week, it’s time to grab a fistful of napkins and dig in. It’s not just Philly where cheesesteak excellence abounds. Langhorne is giving it a run for its money, writes Hira Quresh for the Bucks County Courier Times

Three Langhorne shops made the best-of list:

  • Jay’s Steak and Hoagie Hut: A specialty here is a cheesesteak on a pretzel roll, with a beer and cream cheese spread atop the shaved ribeye.
  • Steve’s Prince of Steaks: Customers can watch their cheesesteaks being grilled right in front of the shop.
  • Tre Fratelli: The staff at this family-run shop is tight-knit, with eight engagements, seven weddings, and the birth of numerous kids among its ranks.

For the full list of local cheesesteaks of distinction (as well as addresses and contact information), see the Bucks County Courier Times article
