Five Bucks County public high schools are among the top 50 in Pennsylvania for 2021, according to a new ranking recently released by Niche.

To determine the ranking for its 2021 Best Public High Schools in Pennsylvania list, Niche used a rigorous analysis of key statistics using data provided by the U.S. Department of Education and millions of reviews written by students and parents.

The metrics used include test scores, college readiness, graduation scores, teacher quality, and high school ratings, among many others.

Schools were then graded using eight categories, with Academics having the highest weight.

All schools that made the top 50 list received an A+ or an A grade for their overall score.

For local schools, Central Bucks High School – East in Doylestown ranked highest in 13th place, with Central Bucks High School – West also in Doylestown not far behind in fifteenth place.

Next is Central Bucks High School – South in Warrington in No. 21, while Council Rock High School – North in Newtown came in at No. 30.

The list is rounded off with New Hope-Solebury High School in New Hope in No. 35.
