Newtown
Newtown is a historic borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, founded in 1684 by William Penn. It is known for its preserved architecture, charming shops, and the Newtown Historic District, which features buildings dating from the late 17th to early 20th centuries.
The borough is home to the oldest operating movie theater in America, the Newtown Theatre, and the long-standing Newtown Hardware House. Newtown is part of the Council Rock School District and is surrounded by Newtown Township.
