Inn at Bowman’s Hill in Upper Makefield is among 20 charming getaways in the running to be named one of the top ten bed-and-breakfasts in a national readers’ choice poll, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
The inn has been nominated by a panel of experts and USA Today.
“Whether you’re seeking a cozy retreat, a romantic getaway, or a cultural immersion, these 20 bed-and-breakfasts—nominated as the best in the U.S. by a panel of travel experts—do not disappoint,” stated the publication.
Voting ends at noon on Monday, Aug. 4. Winners will be announced on Aug. 13.
The historic inn is an AAA 4-Diamond romantic retreat—the only inn in Bucks County with that distinction. Nationally recognized, it is a member of Select Registry, Distinguished Inns of North America and has a TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award.
Owned by Inga Jakobovich, the inn sits on a five-acre estate near Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve. It is renowned as a welcoming haven for bird watchers and nature lovers.
The inn features luxurious suites with fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs, among many amenities.
