Two of the nation’s largest homebuilders, Toll Brothers and D.R. Horton, are bringing a combined 270 new homes to Sellersville, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Fort Washington-based Toll Brothers has launched sales of 72 carriage-style townhomes at Regency at Rockhill Ridge, a 55-and-over community.
Starting in the mid-$500,000s, the homes offer around 1,920 square feet of space and feature first-floor primary suites. Some will be ready for move-in as early as later this spring.
In late 2024, Toll purchased the 17-acre site at 2 Oakwood Lane, which is located behind the St. Luke’s Grand View Hospital campus between Farmers Lane and Route 309, for $5.3 million from Harleysville-based THP Homes.
Just a six-minute drive away, D.R. Horton purchased a 66-plus-acre parcel at 1731 S. Old Bethlehem Pike for $11.24 million to build a 198-unit community combining townhomes and single-family homes.
Townhomes at Park Hill Villages, which are just under 2,000 square feet, will start in the mid-$400,000s, with single-family homes priced from the low $600,000s to the upper $700,000s.
