Mike Feeney, owner of Feeney’s Wholesale Nursery in Buckingham and a Bucks Beautiful board member, recently received an award from the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association, writes Jeff Werner for Patch.
The 2026 Fredrick J. Mummert Distinguished Service Award is the association’s highest membership honor. It honors individuals whose careers reflect professional excellence, a dedication to advancing the green industry, and outstanding leadership.
Honorees must be unanimously approved by the association’s board of directors.
Feeney’s involvement with the PLNA has been a key factor in advancing the association’s mission, improving industry standards, and shaping policy.
He has collaborated with local politicians, assisting with the development of Pennsylvania’s ACRE law, and has testified before the Pennsylvania Senate Agriculture Committee.
Feeney remains involved in several initiatives to support the industry, such as serving as a donor for TreeVitalize. He also represented PLNA on the State Invasive Plant Committee.
He was recognized as Bucks County Farmer of the Year in 2025 for his stewardship and commitment to land conservation.
“We are honored to have Mike as part of the Bucks Beautiful family and extend our heartfelt congratulations on this well-deserved recognition,” said Bucks Beautiful.
