The Bucks County-based specialty snack store Clusters Handcrafted Popcorn will be opening a new location in the Village at Newtown, writes Jeff Werner for Patch.
The store offers both sweet and savory popcorn flavors and currently has two other locations in Bucks County, in New Hope and Peddler’s Village.
It will be replacing the recently closed Bobby Chez Gourmet To Go location between Trinity Rehab and Naked Chocolate.
Customers can enjoy sweet flavors, like Peanut Lovers, Toasted Coconut, Sweet Habanero, Cookie Explosion, Caramel Corn, Pumpkin Crisp, Peanut Butter Blast, and Cinnamon Toast.
More savory options include Garlic Parmesan, Just Like A Pickle, White Cheddar, Buffalo Blue, Loaded Baked Potato, Cheesy Doodle, and Chipotle White Cheddar.
The owners, Linda and Jules Sghiatti, opened their first store in their hometown, New Hope, in 2011.
In 2010, the pair realized that the town didn’t have any places to grab a quick snack other than ice cream. Taking inspiration from their shared love of caramel corn, they decided to open their own snack spot for locals to enjoy.
While Linda and the kids worked on developing popcorn flavors, Jules set to work designing the shop located on Bridge Street.
Outside of the county, the store also has locations in King of Prussia, Bethlehem, Wildwood, and Jackson, N.J.
