Bucks Beer Bash Partners with TMA Bucks and Local Leaders to Promote Safe Rides Home

The Bucks Beer Bash has once again teamed up with TMA Bucks to promote responsible driving.

The Bucks Beer Bash will soon return to The Fuge in Warminster on Saturday, March 14, and it won’t just be a celebration of craft beverages — it will also spotlight a community-wide effort to keep local roads safe.

Organizers of the popular festival have once again teamed up with the County Community Traffic Safety Program, part of TMA Bucks, to promote responsible driving and provide practical solutions for attendees who need a safe way home.

The Community Traffic Safety Program works year-round to reduce highway fatalities across Bucks County, focusing on some of the leading causes of crashes: aggressive driving, driving under the influence, and distracted driving. The Beer Bash, which brings together more than 60 breweries, wineries, and distilleries, offers a unique opportunity to connect directly with the community in a setting where the message of safe transportation matters most.

Community Traffic Safety Program Manager Carly Wible will be onsite throughout the event — as she has been for the past two Beer Bashes — helping to spread the traffic safety message and coordinate rideshares home for attendees.

“Our goal is not just education, but real-world solutions,” she said. “By receiving funds from local supporters, it helps cover the cost of a Lyft ride home for attendees who need it. We’re removing one more reason someone might take a risk and helping ensure everyone gets home safely after having a fun day out. After all, a safe ride home can make all the difference in keeping our community safe on our roadways.”

The safer-driving initiative is supported by local officials, including State Sen. Frank Farry and State Rep. Brian Munroe, who contributed funding to assist the TMA Bucks efforts.

Event organizers say safety has long been a top priority. Beer Bash organizer Geff Rapp and The Fuge owner Sam Cravero have worked together to ensure the event emphasizes tasting quality over quantity. Participating beverage partners are encouraged to pour responsibly, and designated driver ticket options are available so attendees can enjoy the festival alongside a non-drinking friend who can handle transportation duties. And the TMA Bucks rideshare program is a big part of it, too.

“At the end of the day, it’s about creating an event that’s not only fun and memorable, but one where safety always comes first,” Cravero said.

By combining community education, financial support for rideshares, and proactive event planning, the partnership aims to make sure that a day of sampling local craft beverages ends with everyone arriving home safely.
