West Chester’s QVC Refreshes Lineup with Batch of New Wellness and Beauty Brands

QVC is updating its product lineup this year with new wellness and beauty brands that highlight the category’s growing importance.

QVC is updating its product lineup this year by introducing new wellness and beauty brands, that highlight the category’s growing importance to the West Chester-based retailer, writes Tatiana Walk-Morris for the Retail Drive

“We’re excited to welcome innovative new brands while continuing to deliver the fan-favorites our customers trust, making it easier to discover solutions that help you look and feel your best every day,” said Rosalia Bucaro Polizzi, chief merchandising officer at QVC

Even amid economic uncertainty, beauty brands have shown resilience. A recent Circana report found that prestige beauty sales climbed seven percent to $8.1 billion in the third quarter, with mass-market products outperforming prestige and increasing six percent for the quarter.

QVC’s wellness and beauty expansion comes as its parent company, QVC Group, implements a turnaround strategy that includes 24/7 live shopping content, expanding platforms and audiences through technology, and creating a leading live social shopping content engine.

The company’s turnaround strategy has not yet reversed its decline, as the latest earnings report for the third quarter revealed a 5.6 percent year-over-year drop in revenue to $2.2 billion.
