The Pennsbury High School Varsity Cheerleading Team was recently named National Champions following an impressive season, writes Dino Ciliberti for Patch.
The Fairless Hills-based team recently participated in the NCA Advanced Varsity Nationals competition in Texas.
Pennsbury school officials commended both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams, as they’ve made the school community extremely proud with “an incredible season filled with hard work, dedication, and success.”
The Varsity Cheerleading Team also competed at PIAA States and finished in 11th place out of 41 teams from around Pennsylvania.
“This outstanding result reflects months of commitment, teamwork, and perseverance at the highest level of competition,” said school officials.
Pennsbury High School’s JV team also had an excellent season, with an incredible performance at the Plymouth Whitemarsh Competition. The team earned second place thanks to their competitive spirit and hard work.
Pennsbury Cheer was also selected as a Top 10 finalist for the Go Be Great Award, selected over hundreds of other teams from around the country.
