In a $6.85 million deal, the Bensalem Landmark Shopping Center entity has acquired the Celebrations Wedding Venue and the adjacent shopping plaza from owner Francesco Dicianni, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
According to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, Celebrations’ liquor license has recently been transferred to the new owner. Dicianni is still listed as manager on the reissued license, which indicates that Celebrations will still continue its normal operations.
Bensalem Landmark Plaza GP, which is included in the deal, houses a Fine Wine & Good Spirits store, Fabricare Laundromat, H.F. Hornberger’s Bakery, Nate Gordon’s Black Belt Academy and several other tenants.
Located between I-276 and I-95, around two miles from Parx Casino, the shopping center is 36 years old.
Bucks County saw another sale of a wedding venue last year when Bill Haas paid $3.15 million for Spring Mill Manor in Ivyland, with plans to invest around $2 million into giving the property a complete overhaul.
