Cardiology Team Expands at St. Luke’s Grand View Campus in Sellersville

Sellersville's St. Luke’s Grand View Campus is expanding its cardiology team to provide stronger care and better service.

St. Luke’s Grand View Campus in Sellersville is expanding its cardiology team to more than a dozen practitioners, aiming to offer stronger care and better service to the community, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.

The expanded team now features seven general cardiologists, an interventional cardiologist, and advanced practitioners, bringing new cardiac specialties to patients at the campus.

“The partnership with St. Luke’s is a game-changer,” said Mitchell Greenspan, MD. “Not only does it mean additional physicians, resources and access to advanced technology for local patients right here in our community, it allows us to streamline the experience for heart patients from diagnosis to treatment and monitoring of chronic conditions.”

Meanwhile, a new non-invasive computed-tomography test introduced by the network last spring has the potential to reduce the need for more invasive cardiac testing for patients with suspected heart disease.

“Incredible progress is being made in how we repair hearts and manage chronic disease,” said Michael Durkin, MD. “Cardiology has become highly specialized. At St. Luke’s, we have the expertise to assure patients receive personalized care from the cardiologist best suited to manage their heart care, close to home.”
