Perkasie’s Eric & Christopher Transforms Photos into Home Keepsakes

Perkasie's Eric & Christopher transforms photos into home decor, printing moments captured by local artists onto household keepsakes.

Eric & Christopher in Perkasie transform photos into home decor by printing authentic moments captured by local artists onto household keepsakes, reports Christie Ileto for 6abc.

The business was born out of necessity during the Great Recession.

Chris Kline, who co-owns the business with Eric Fausnacht, said that he lost half of his business.

That is when he decided to pursue his true passion, screen printing, full time. As an artist, he personally draws many of the screen prints by hand.

“Eric came up with this idea where he started photographing farm animals,” said Kline. “What if I screen printed these on canvas, then saw the canvas into pillows, and would take them out to local arts and craft shows?”

The black ink on natural fabric produced an impressive effect, prompting them to stick with it for now.

“After a time, we introduced a little bit of color onto one of our Christmas pillows,” said Henna Tucker, Director of Business Development at Eric & Christopher, “and we noticed that out of all the designs in our booth, customers would go right to that one.”

Originally started in a basement, the business is now in a 100-year-old sewing factory.
