The program operates through a partnership between Visit Bucks County and the County of Bucks and is financed by local lodging taxes, ensuring that current tourism supports future growth.

One of the recipients is the Newtown Historic Association, which has been honored with the 2025 Charles H. Martin Grant.

Named after the former Bucks County Commissioner who established the tourism grant program, the prestigious award recognizes outstanding and lasting contributions to the tourism industry in the county.

Thanks to the grant, the Newtown Historic Association’s Court Inn, which also serves as the association’s headquarters, will be able to further enhance the historic significance of the town, preserve its heritage, and attract an even greater number of visitors.
