Bristol’s Sojo Industries Announces Benjamin Tanner as New Chief Operating Officer

Bristol-based Sojo Industries, which offers packaging and manufacturing solutions, announced Benjamin Tanner as its Chief Operating Officer.

Bristol-based Sojo Industries, the industrial automation company offering mobile manufacturing and modular packaging solutions, recently named Benjamin Tanner as its new Chief Operating Officer.

Tanner boasts over twenty years of experience in logistics, manufacturing, and supply chain management in the beverage and food industry.

He recently served as Head of Operations Condiments at Winland Foods, where he oversaw a five-plant network and led teams across planning, quality, warehousing, and more.

“Ben is a seasoned operator with brand-building DNA who knows how to take complex operating challenges and turn them into reliable, scalable, and profitable outcomes,” said Barak Bar-Cohen, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sojo.

This addition to Sojo’s leadership team follows the recent hiring of Chief Commercial Officer Chad Hagen, a former SunOpta executive.

“Sojo is solving logistical challenges that every major brand is feeling in its supply chain,” Tanner said. “The ability to bring production closer to demand while improving quality and reliability utilizing leading-edge technology is powerful. I am looking forward to implementing the operational discipline required to execute on this new innovative model which I truly believe can and will transform the CPG manufacturing industry.”

Tanner will be responsible for Sojo’s execution strategy and manufacturing footprint, which includes Sojo Flight, the mobile packaging platform.
