Reservations are now open for the fourth annual Igloo Garden on the Green, a magical outdoor dining experience returning to King of Prussia Town Center’s green space from Nov. 4-18.

Produced by King of Prussia District and presented by Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s King of Prussia Campus, the event benefits Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard (UMACC).

Bookable exclusively through OpenTable, six cozy igloos furnished by AVE King of Prussia and Ethan Allen provide a private setting for takeout dining (no restaurant service onsite). Each igloo features heaters, festive décor, twinkling holiday lights, and a Bluetooth speaker. Diners are encouraged to enjoy takeout deals from restaurants throughout King of Prussia.

Each igloo accommodates up to six guests and requires a $35-$65 donation to UMACC, depending on the day and time of reservation. Igloo Garden on the Green opens daily at noon, with reservations every hour until 8 PM.

Igloo Garden on the Green is part of King of Prussia District’s 14th Annual Food Drive, KOP Takes Out Hunger, which is co-produced by Conlin’s Print and benefits UMACC. The food drive runs Nov. 1-30 across King of Prussia. In addition to raising vital funds, Igloo Garden on the Green collects food donations onsite. Diners and visitors who drop off donations at the welcome tent will be entered to win a prize pack of gift cards and goods valued at hundreds of dollars.

“Last year, 1,504 guests and our generous sponsors helped us raise $31,698 for UMACC,” said Eric Goldstein, President and CEO of King of Prussia District. “In just three years, Igloo Garden on the Green has raised nearly $77,000, and over 13 years, our food drive has collected more than 6.6 tons of food. This community support makes a real difference for our neighbors in need.”

UMACC is a food pantry open to anyone who lives within the bounds of the Upper Merion Area School District and is hungry or food-insufficient. Located in the Valley Forge Presbyterian Church at 191 Town Center Road in King of Prussia, UMACC provides essential resources for families in need.

Additional sponsors of the KOP Takes Out Hunger Food Drive and Igloo Garden on the Green include Zippy Shell, Eigen X, Radial, Brandywine Realty Trust, KOP Town Center/CBRE, Pro Team Collision, Valley Forge Casino Resort, Parker Plants & Holiday, and Riehl Structures.
