Ford Motor Company has presented Fred Beans, founder and president of Fred Beans Automotive Group, with its Lifetime Achievement Award, making him only the third person ever to receive this honor, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
Beans bought his first dealership five decades ago. The Ford store, now Fred Beans Ford of Doylestown, remains at the center of the company’s operations, which have grown to 30 dealerships, including eight Ford locations, as well as various other automotive-related businesses.
Ford representatives visited Beans to deliver the news of the prestigious award.
“Fred, you truly embody the spirit of dedication, the drive for innovation, and the power of partnership that defines our Ford family,” said Megan Pallischeck Carlini, general manager of the East Market Area with Ford Motor Company. “Your tireless efforts and unwavering commitment have truly propelled your own remarkable success.”
The official award ceremony took place at the Ford Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas. At the start of the event, a video tribute was presented, featuring the Beans family and the full Fred Beans Automotive Group team, along with the various community partners who have come to know and deeply respect Beans over the years.
