Red Rooster Brings Nashville Hot Chicken to Doylestown with New Location

Red Rooster Hot Chicken opened its doors in Doylestown last week on East State Street.

Red Rooster Hot Chicken officially opened its doors in Doylestown on Sept. 5, taking over the former Quinoa space on East State Street, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.

The new eatery, which specializes in Nashville Hot Chicken, gave out free food throughout the day, inviting customers to “Experience the Heat; Savor the Flavor.”

Red Roster features hot chicken sandwiches, hot chicken tenders, loaded mac and cheese, loaded fries, milkshakes, and sliders, among other offerings.

Originating in Nashville, hot chicken is a specialty fried chicken that has grown popular in Bucks County and the wider region, with multiple locations opening in recent months.

Raheem Kakar, a Central Bucks High School East graduate, founded Red Rooster to create a spot that reimagines halal comfort food with heat, heart and soul. He opened the first location in Warminster in June 2024, which soon became a suburban hot spot.

“Think Nashville-style spice, a buzzing atmosphere, and a menu that’s always fresh, always fiery,” states the Red Rooster website. “From our crispy, juicy chicken to the vibrant ambience, every visit is an experience. Pull up, dig in, and feel the flavor.”
