Hazy’s Bar & Grill in Feasterville Celebrates 20 Years of Great Food and Service

Head Chef Ron Sullivan, Megan Wagher, Katie McBride and Bob Hayes, the owner of Hazy's Bar & Grill.

Tucked away in Feasterville is Hazy’s Bar & Grill, a popular sports bar featuring a variety of tasty food options and a diverse range of foreign and domestic beers. What makes Hazy’s so special is its welcoming staff and management team, who work hard to ensure every guest feels welcomed and cared for.

Ron Sullivan is the head chef at Hazy’s and joined the restaurant’s team three years ago. Since taking over the kitchen, Sullivan has been fortunate to see how the establishment has grown, putting in a great deal of effort himself to make it the best it can be.

Sullivan began his career in marketing and later applied his knowledge of profit and loss to his first job at a bar in Mayfair

“Looking back, that experience really toughened me up and gave me the drive to push for better,” Sullivan said. “When I landed at Hazy’s, I saw an opportunity to help take a neighborhood spot with history and give it some new life.”

Each day begins with preparing the kitchen, getting the specials ready and checking deliveries. Though each shift is different, they’re united by the staff’s dedication to ensuring every customer leaves smiling and that each staff member is supported.

“Everyone here takes pride in more than just getting plates out the window—they care about how we represent the bar and the neighborhood. It’s a team that’s constantly willing to adapt, pitch in, and treat each other like family. That energy spills over into the food and the guest experience,” said Sullivan

Sullivan, the management and the staff have worked hard to make the restaurant what it is today. The menu has been revamped with a selection of great options to choose from, and the high-quality service has only improved.

Those looking for a bite to eat can try out one of their many tasty options. The KT Steak, named after one of Hazy’s original employees, features a generous cut of steak on a perfectly seeded roll with mayo, fried onions, and American cheese and Whiz. There is also a selection of unique taco options that put a fun spin on a classic dish. The Crab Rangoon Burger is a recent addition that you don’t want to miss.

Now, Hazy’s is excited to celebrate 20 years of business, a significant milestone in the industry.

“For us, it’s proof that the community believes in what we’re doing and wants us here. It means honoring the history of the bar, while also pushing forward with new ideas and energy so we’re not just resting on the past. To the staff, it feels like a badge of honor. To the neighborhood, it’s a reminder that Hazy’s is their spot—a place that’s been through ups and downs but keeps showing up for the people who walk through the door.”

So, the next time you’re in Feasterville, be sure to check out Hazy’s Bar & Grill for great food and an even greater experience.
