Audacy to Sublease Nearly Half Of Its Philadelphia Headquarters in Center City

Audacy is subletting up to 48 percent of its Center City headquarters at 2400 Market Street, equating up to 32,400 square feet of Audacy's fourth floor space.

Audacy and a listing from real estate brokerage firm Binswanger, has confirmed that it is subletting up to 48 percent of its headquarters, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The percentage equates to up to 32,400 square feet of Audacy’s fourth floor space. Its lease on the space is set to expire on July 31, 2034.

Back in 2019, Audacy leased the entire fourth floor in the building, the equivalent of about 67,000 square feet. It occurred a few years after the company completed its acquisition of CBS Radio in November 2017.

Audacy spokesman David Heim said that despite its subleasing, Audacy’s corporate headquarters will remain at its Center City location at 2400 Market Street. The space for its six local radio station will also not be impacted.

“Philadelphia remains an important part of Audacy, and these changes align our office needs with teams on hybrid work schedules,” Heim said in a statement.

According to the Binswanger listing, the available space features 98 work stations, 50 offices, five phone booths, and four conference rooms. There is also shared reception and a cafe area. `
