Doylestown Health Ranks on List of Best Hospitals in the Philly Area and the State

U.S. News & World Report’s recent list of the best hospitals in the Philadelphia region and the state included Doylestown Health.

U.S. News & World Report recently placed Doylestown Health as the 12th best hospital in the Philadelphia region and the 24th best in Pennsylvania, writes Ed Doyle for TAPinto Doylestown.

On the list, Doylestown Health was “rated high performing” in 10 conditions and procedures for adult patients. Among these conditions and procedures were heart and vascular surgeries, diabetes, pulmonology and cancer.

The website also stated that Doylestown Health was ranked above the national average in terms of patient satisfaction and their likelihood of recommending the hospital to others.

Hospitals of the University of Pennsylvania-Penn Presbyterian was ranked first on the list of the best hospitals in the Philadelphia area. Jefferson Abington Hospital, located just outside Bucks County, also earned a high ranking on the same list.

Of the country’s approximately 6,000 hospitals, only 504 of them were ranked on the list. This is the 36th annual ranking conducted by U.S. News & World Report.
