Mama Hawk’s Cafe is partnering with the Michener Art Museum to open a second location in the Doylestown museum, writes Ryan Kneller for WFMZ.
The grand opening will take place on July 9 from 10 AM to 5 PM. Visitors will be able to enjoy live music and free coffee samples.
Mama Hawk’s has become known for its specialty coffee made with beans from Kansas City’s Thou Mayest Coffee Roasters. The cafe also offers a selection of fresh baked goods, salads and sandwiches.
The cafe will remain open during museum hours from Wednesday to Sunday. No admission fee is required for the cafe’s customers.
“Mama Hawk’s is honored to partner with Michener Art Museum, a cornerstone of Bucks County’s cultural scene,” said the founder of Mama Hawk’s Kitchen & Coffee, Liz Hawkins. “We’re excited to bring our passion for great coffee and scratch-made food into this beautiful space, creating a menu that complements the Michener itself.”
Mama Hawk’s Cafe at the Michener will offer exclusive menu items inspired by the museum experience.
Customers can enjoy specialty drinks inspired by James A. Michener’s award-winning novels, including the Hawaiian Sunrise, Alaskan Aurora and Chesapeake Chai.
Breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon buns, cookies and muffins will also be available for purchase.
