Craft Tavern, a new speakeasy-style restaurant, is set to opened last month at 101 S. Main Street in Dublin, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
The restaurant was founded by Tom Peters, owner of the now-closed Craft Barbecue Co., formerly known as Holy Que in Lahaska.
“Barbecue had an incredible run — and we’re proud of everything we achieved — but the truth is, my wheelhouse is this,” said Peters. “Craft Tavern brings everything I’ve learned over the last 30 years full circle: high-level food, exceptional drinks, and a deep focus on hospitality.”
The new space will feature special handcrafted cocktails and delicious scratch-made food.
The Prohibition-inspired tavern’s warm and charming atmosphere perfectly complements the historic building.
The grand opening has yet to be announced, but customers can expect a mid- to late-July opening
“Craft Tavern is a love letter to everyone who supported Craft Barbecue. And to those ready for something fresh — it’s something elevated yet very welcoming,” Peters said.
