Those looking to cool off this weekend can check out one of Bucks County’s many pools to escape the heat and humidity, writes Jess Rohan for the Bucks County Courier Times.
Fanny Chapman Memorial Pool in Doylestown is a great spot that’s open until Sept. 1. Though weekend times vary, the pool is usually open from 1:30 PM to 9 PM on weekdays.
In Sellersville, Holiday House Pool is open throughout the week from 12 PM to 8 PM. Memberships and day passes are available. Passes are $12 for children under 16 and $17 for adults from 12 PM to 5 PM. After 5 PM, passes are $12 for adults and $9 for children.
The Mary Barness Community Pool in Warrington is open through Sept. 1, with current hours from 11 AM to 8 PM. Daily rates range from $10 to $20, depending on the time, age and if visitors are accompanied by a member.
The pool at Nockamixon State Park in Quakertown is open every day from 12 PM to 6 PM. Visitors must pay $14 in cash to swim.
Bensalem’s Neshaminy Swimming Pool is open from 12 PM to 6 PM daily. Admission is $14 for all visitors 1 year and older. Passes are cash-only.
