Collegeville Office Buildings Sell to Globus Medical with Staggering Price Cut

Two office buildings in Collegeville were sold to Audubon's Globus Medical for $6.2 million, an 81 percent drop since their sale in 2018.

Two office buildings in Collegeville have sold to Audubon-based Globus Medical for $6.2 million, marking an 81 percent drop in value since their last sale in 2018, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The buildings, located at 200 and 400 Campus Drive and previously known as Highview I and Highview II, are currently just 15 percent occupied, contributing to the steep price drop in the foreclosure sale. Provident Bank served as the seller. The new owner plans to occupy both buildings.

Globus Medical specializes in spine, trauma, and robotic technologies. In April, the company completed its $250 million acquisition of Nevro Corp, a life sciences firm based in California.

“These new facilities will enable us to create additional high-quality tech jobs and foster innovation within our teams,” said Globus Medical spokesperson Moran Chavez. “We are excited to deepen our roots in the community and contribute to the local economy, supporting both our employees and the broader region as we grow.”

The two buildings, totaling 183,363 square feet, were sold for approximately $34 per square foot.

To learn more about what this sale signals for the suburban office market and how Globus Medical’s expansion could reshape Collegeville’s economic landscape, read the full story on the Philadelphia Business Journal.
