A Ridley Park woman who lost her job in the Crozer Health closings is now pouring her energies into E-bike rentals with her husband, reports Jennaphr Frederick for Fox 29 News.
Ed and Jessica Kline run KlineRentNRide,, bringing E bikes to Delaware County and to other locations throughout the Philadelphia region.
The couple discovered the joy of riding E-bikes after their niece encouraged them to try it out while visiting Snow Canyon in Utah.
“And I’m thinking, I haven’t ridden a bike in decades. So we went out there and within five minutes we loved e-biking,” Ed said.
Unlike conventional bikes, E-bikes have battery-driven power assist settings with various levels of support.
Jessica said E-bikes are for any size, age, and those with knee problems, “for everybody.”
They decided to start a business renting E-bikes for short excursions, family vacations, and trips to the Shore.
Bikes ordered through their website can be delivered the next at your home, Airbnb, hotel, or trailhead for 4 hours, 8 hours, 3 days, or a whole week.
There are also orbiters and trailers that allow you to bring a child or baby along for the ride.
