‘Call Her Daddy’ Host Alex Cooper’s Childhood Home in Newtown Sold

The childhood home of “Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper was sold in May, five months after she bought her parents a new one.

Alex Cooper’s childhood home in Newtown was sold in May, just five months after the media mogul bought her parents a house in Los Angeles, writes Skyler Caruso for People Magazine

Cooper’s parents, Bryan and Laurie Cooper, recently sold the four-bedroom, 2.5-bath Pennsylvania home for $780,000.

The Call Her Daddy host spent her childhood in Bucks County before eventually leaving to attend Boston University in Massachusetts.

Cooper first mentioned her buying a home for her parents in L.A. back in December 2024 on her podcast.

“To be able to go to my parents this past summer … and be like, ‘I want to buy you guys a house and I want to do this for you. And I’m so excited to be able to do this for you, and I want nothing in return,” she said during a Christmas episode.

The podcast host noted that she just wants them to be happy. She also said it would be helpful to have them nearby if she and her husband, Matt Kaplan, have kids.

Cooper wanted to give back to her parents, having received so much support from them since childhood. This house provided the perfect opportunity to do just that.
