Paws and Affection is gearing up for its annual Cocktails for Canines event on Saturday, April 26 at the Cynwyd Club in Narberth, and it’s shaping up to be a night to remember.
This year’s event embraces a black-and-white theme inspired by the nonprofit’s playful panda logo, a clever nod to its acronym, “PandA.” It’s also a chance to celebrate a special group of people: the “PandA Moms,” mothers of the young people who receive these life-changing service dogs.
Guests will enjoy a buffet-style dinner, open bar (beer and wine), live music, games, and a chance to meet some of the PandA pups-in-training. Cocktail attire is encouraged, and while the black-and-white color scheme is optional, it adds to the fun.
Tickets are $80 and include dinner, drinks, entertainment, and access to all activities. The event brings together supporters, sponsors, and volunteers to highlight the impact of Paws and Affection’s work.
For more than a decade, the organization has trained and placed service, facility, and companion dogs with children and teens (ages 11–20) with disabilities across the greater Philadelphia area—empowering them with confidence, independence, and support.
