Family-owned Maggio’s Restaurant is a Southampton staple that offers everything from soups and salads to ribs, and much more, reports Bob Kelly for FOX 29.

The popular eatery has been serving great food for nearly five decades.

Sam Schubert, general manager at Maggio’s, highlighted that his father opened in restaurant in 1976 and has been going strong ever since.

Today, the business is run by Schubert, his mother, and his brother.

“We all work together, we all have our rules, and, you know, thank god we’re still in business, we’re doing well,” said Schubert.

The interior is separated into a restaurant area and a sports bar area with 20 big-screen televisions. There is also a ballroom that seats around 250 people.

“We also have a small area right over here,” said Schubert. “It’s called the chef’s galley, right in front of the open kitchen, because we like for people to see our cooks make our food.”

Some of the local favorites include Penne Tomato and Vodka, Baby Back Ribs, and Barbecue Pulled Pork Sandwich, along with delicious milkshakes and smoothies.

As a bonus, kids can even make their own pizza.
