Cerruti’s Sandwich Shop, a family-owned casual eatery specializing in signature hoagies and cheesesteaks, is coming to the Redwood Plaza in Southampton, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The new lunch spot, which is taking over the former Flip City Shakes space, had a soft opening on April 8.
Cerruti’s is owned and operated by Domineco and Anthony Cerruti, a father-and-son team. This is their first business venture together.
“My dad and my uncles used to own a deli in northeast Philly for 11 years called Cerruti Bros. Deli, but I was little when the deli was around,” said Anthony. “So now, it’s cool being able to work with him and learn everything about the business from him.”
The pair will incorporate many of the recipes from the family’s former deli into the menu. They will use fresh ingredients and roast their own turkey and beef in-house. Everything will be prepared from scratch from the start.
Offerings will include the Turkey Hoagie, Cheesesteak, Graham Slam Milkshake, French Fries, and Mozzarella Sticks, among many others.
Cerruti’s will also offer takeout as well as dine-in with abundant seating available.
