The Myers-Briggs Company, a California-based provider of business psychology solutions, recently opened a new executive office in The Square at Dublin Town Center in Dublin, writes Lisa DeAngelis for the Bucks County Herald.
For the company, recognized globally for publishing the original personality type assessment, this is a homecoming of sorts.
Catherine Cook Briggs and her daughter, Isabel Briggs Myers, lived in Swarthmore in the 1940s. They developed the Myers Briggs Type Indicator drawing from theories of personality types by psychologist Carl Jung. The assessment was designed to help workplace team building.
Additionally, the company’s Chief Experience Officer Dayna Williams grew up in the Central Bucks School District. She later relocated to Los Angeles but is now back in Bucks County, working in the company’s new executive office.
