When Saquon Barkley upgraded his team from the New York Giants to the now Super Bowl-winning Philadelphia Eagles, he also traded in his New Jersey home for a mansion in Malvern, writes Mary K. Jacob for the New York Post.
The 28-year-old football running back purchased a 10,000-plus-square-foot house in Chester County in April. He paid $3.9 million for the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom residence.
Barkley’s new home was built in 2017 and sits on more than five acres of land. His old home, which he sold in July, was on around two acres of land.
The Malvern mansion features three fireplaces and crown moldings throughout, among many other thoughtful details. There is also a first-floor in-law suite and two laundry rooms.
The primary suite boasts custom closets and a luxurious bath with marble tile, while the gourmet kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances and a huge walk-in pantry.
The basement is a true entertainment hub with a custom home theater, a gym, and access to the saltwater pool.
Barkley lives with his fiancée Anna Congdon and their two children.
