Falls Township’s Pinewood Pool Upgrades Waterslide for 2025 Splash Season

The Pinewood Pool in Falls Township will be getting a safer version of its popular double waterslide ready for the 2025 splash season.

The Pinewood Pool in Falls Township will be getting a safer version of its popular double waterslide ready for the 2025 summer splash season, writes JD Mullane for the Bucks County Courier Times

“The (current) slide is 15 years old,” said Brian Andrews, director of Falls Parks & Recreation. “It will be replaced with a dual slide, similar to what’s there now. Basically, what we have there now, to climb up on it, the platforms are very slippery. So, we’ll have more traditional steps to get to the top. It’ll be a lot safer.”

Falls Township officials hope the new slide will be finished by May. The $81,000 upgrade will include running water, just like the current one.

The pool is set to open on May 24, with weekend hours until June 19, when it will shift to a seven-day schedule from noon to evening.

Membership rates were approved at the board of supervisors’ meeting on Jan. 28 and will remain the same as last year. Prices range from $195 for an individual to $340 for a family of four.
