The plan for a drive-thru Starbucks at a busy intersection near Pennridge High School is now under review by Perkasie borough officials, writes Lacey Latch for the Bucks County Courier Times.
Borough council members held a public hearing earlier this week to discuss the developer’s conditional use application for a drive-thru to be permitted on the property.
According to the tax parcel number, the proposed Starbucks is on the same lot as AutoZone at the corner of Blooming Glen Road and North 5th Street.
The proposed coffeehouse would likely be constructed across from the CVS, not far from the Dunkin’ drive-thru at the intersection behind Pennridge High School.
According to the Starbucks store locator, the closest location to Perkasie is in Souderton, a little over 3.5 miles away.
