Good News Pennsylvanians: Wawa is Expanding Westward

Wawa continues its western expansion into central Pennsylvania.

To kick off 2025, Wawa’s western expansion in Pennsylvania includes two new locations in central Pennsylvania, writes Sue Gleiter from PennLive Patriot-News.

On Jan. 23, two new locations will open on 164 Maynard St. in Williamsport and 1071 Wayne Ave. in Chambersburg

The ribbon-cutting ceremonies will take place at 8:30 AM shortly after doors open at 8 AM

Dave Simonetti, the senior director of store operations said, “We are excited to kick off 2025 with two additional new Wawa stores in central Pa. to fulfill lives of our friends and neighbors.”

The store chain, based in Delaware County, pledged in 2022 to open over 40 additional locations throughout Pennsylvania.

You can expect to see around a dozen new locations opened by the end of 2025 in Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lycoming, Northumberland, Union and York counties.
