Buckingham Township is one of the best suburbs to live in Pennsylvania, according to a recent report by Stacker.
The list was based on Niche’s 2024 Best Places to Live rankings, which evaluate areas using metrics such as cost of living, residents’ education levels, housing affordability, and school quality.
Buckingham Township came in at No. 30 in the Keystone State, as well as No. 424 nationwide.
The suburb, with a population of 20,820, has a median household income of $181,855. The median home value is $644,300, with 95 percent of residents owning their homes, while the median rent is $1,475, with just 5 percent of them currently renting.
Top public schools include Central Bucks High School – East and Central Bucks High School – West, both with A+ ratings, as well as Linden Elementary School, rated A.
Among private schools, George School and Solebury School each has an A+ rating, while Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School is rated A.
