Enjoy Great Games, Drinks, and Food at Quakertown’s Parlour Tabletop and Tome Cafe
The Parlour Tabletop and Tome in Quakertown offers a cozy, welcoming space where customers can enjoy a wide selection of games, delicious food, and refreshing drinks, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.
Liz Mosesso with Moon Rabbit Collective and Rebecca Fitting with Level Vape Shop partnered to open the cafe in October.
They set out to create a sensory-friendly place with soft, warm lighting, window nook seating. There’s a round table for group gameplay, and a gallery displaying works of local artists.
The focal point is the cafe’s game library. It has tabletop games from Monopoly and Clue to complex strategy-based games, such as Smallworld and Ticket to Ride.
The cafe serves breakfast, lunch, and dessert with unique coffee and tea drinks with fantasy-inspired names.
“It’s tabletop gaming, it’s a café, it’s a gallery, but it’s so much more than that,” said Mosesso. “It’s a third place, almost like your home away from home where people get to relax, unmask for a bit and be themselves. It’s nice to see people gaming and doing their homework, and they’re fed and they’re comfy.”
