DelVal Football Head Coach Mike Isgro Talks Past, Present, and Future of Successful Program
Delaware Valley University first-year head coach Mike Isgro is drawing inspiration from past successful Aggies coaches while putting his own stamp on the football program, reports Tom Moore for the Bucks County Courier Times.
“I think, obviously, the program has been successful for many years,” said Isgro. “Obviously when coach Greco was here, and also coach Clements, coach Mangus, as well.”
While still respecting those who have come before him, Isgro plans to do some things differently.
“Maybe do it a different way here and there, change some things up,” he said. “I think you always have to change a little bit, you don’t want to just stay the same. But at the same time, something’s been working, so you don’t want to reinvent the wheel either.”
One of the potential changes is different practice habits.
However, Isgro highlighted that success boils down to have a roster filled with guys who want to come into the program and compete.
