La La Lobster in Yardley serves delicious lobster tacos, lobster nachos, and lobster grilled cheese, along with a lobster roll that is so big, it is called the La La Monstah Roll, reports Bob Kelly for FOX 29 Philadelphia.
The family decided to get into the lobster business after they found other local options a bit lacking.
“My son was going down to the shore, he was getting lobster rolls all the time, I couldn’t understand how a 17-year-old could buy three lobster rolls in a weekend,” said Nicole Rabena, owner of La La Lobster. “So we went down and tried them and knew that we could do something a little bit better.”
The family first started making lobster rolls in their kitchen and used their neighbors to taste-test them.
“We came up with a recipe where you really got the lobster,” said Rabena. “More places we went, they didn’t give you what they were telling you they were giving you. We give you a quarter pound of lobster. We don’t put a lot of stuff in it. We want you to taste the lobster.”
